People often don’t believe me when I say I have given birth to 5 back-to-back babies naturally...they say I don’t look my age. But looking and feeling younger is just a recent part of my story. When Pablo and I married in the U.S., we carried chronic illnesses and expected to gain weight because it seemed inevitable. After my first three pregnancies, I gained 40 lbs, suffered pre-eclampsia, hypertension, and a “mom bod” that crushed my confidence. But it was seeing my first three kids battle severe inflammation that was the wake-up call I needed.
Growing up in Nigeria, we ate everything without thinking about its effect on our bodies—meals loaded with oil, salt, stock cubes, and daily sugar. By age 7, I was already experiencing chronic joint pain, headaches, and eye pain, which I battled all the way into adulthood. My mother did her best, treating each symptom with medicine, because that’s all she knew...never addressing the root cause. We were told to eat a “balanced diet,” yet no one truly understood what that meant.
Four years ago, Pablo and I dived deep into research and cracked the code on nutrition...and the results were life-changing! We reversed aging, healed our chronic illnesses, maintained a healthy weight, and became our healthiest selves. My 4th and 5th pregnancies? They were incredible!
Now in my mid-30s, I feel stronger than ever, and I’m here to share our journey with you.

I grew up in the Southern United States, where food was the center of family life. My mother taught me to cook fresh from the garden, but I was also surrounded by heavy soul food—fried, sugar- and salt-laden dishes that comforted, but at the cost of long-term health. By my early 30s, I was tired, overweight, and struggling with where my health was headed.
When Anu and I started building a family, everything changed. Parenthood revealed how much my health mattered—not just for me, but for the little ones looking up to us. I wanted to be the dad who could keep up, not one held back by preventable illness.
Our health journey consisted of late-night talks, kitchen experiments, and rediscovering ancestral food wisdom often lost today. We kept asking things like: “How did people cook before sugar?”—and those questions led us back to healing traditions.
Together, Aanu and I embraced a plant-based, SOS-free lifestyle. We rediscovered the simple, nourishing foods our ancestors thrived on and gained energy, balance, and joy. Cooking became about rediscovery, culture, and healing together as a family.
That’s the heart of what I share in this course. Every recipe and lesson is a piece of our story—an invitation to reclaim health, flavor, and connection through food.
